Nasarawa CSC Commissioner charges staff to be proactive while discharging their duties

The Commissioner in charge of Recruitment, Appointment and Discipline of the Nasarawa State Civil Service Commission (CSC), Mr Randolph Para, has charged the staff of the board to be proactive while discharging their duties.

This was contained in a statement by Bilkisu Adamu, Information Officer, Hospitals Management Board (HMB) Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Mr Randolph who stated this on Tuesday 13th September 2022, when he led a team on an oversight function to the Nasarawa State Hospitals Management Board (HMB) headquarters along shendam road, Lafia advised staff of the board to be proactive and make themselves productive by updating their knowledge with current trends that will enhance their performance in discharging their duties to meet up with global best practices.

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Board, Dr Egba Edego, welcomed the Team from the CSC disclosing that they have had discussions with him and his management team in his office before having an interactive session with all staff in the Board room.

Contributing, the Director in charge of Recruitment, Appointment at the commission added that staff should strive to justify their emoluments

He continued by reiterating that it is important to seek for knowledge to align with time and age. He said henceforth the commission will not tolerate a non-challant attitude to work by staff as they have assumed responsibility to checkmate MDAs by paying unannounced visits, ensuring that annual performance appraisal is administered as at when due as well as proper use of time book.

Responding, the CMD appreciated the team for their visit and promised to do the needful to ensure higher productivity in the delivery of standard health care services to the residents of the state and beyond.
