WhatsApp should be renamed Billing app – Nigerian footballer, Asisat Oshoala laments

Nigerian footballer, Asisat Oshoala, has lamented the rate at which people beg on messaging app, WhatsApp.

Assist who said this on her Twitter handle on Friday suggested that the app should be renamed ‘Billing’ App.

Oshoala said that people mostly use the app to beg for money saying in Pidgin English: “You see that WhatsApp ehn, them suppose don rename as Billing app, cus you see that green App ehn, na billing full am. Who curse that app ‘edakun’?“

‘Billing’ is a slang for begging for money.
