Road transport workers urged to shun misconduct, vices, as association gets new exco

The Executive National President of the Road Transport Association of Nigeria Amb. Dr. Musa Muhammed Maitakobi has urged members of the Association across the country to be law-abiding citizens and not to take the law into their hands in the conduct of their lawful business.

Amb. Dr. Musa Muhammed Maitakobi made known to the RTEAN members during the Inauguration of the Newly Executive of the Association at their Headquarters in Abuja, adding that justice equity and fairness is the key to success to any organization in society,

Musa Maitakobi appealed to the Newly sworn RTEAN Chairman and Ekiti State Chapter to carry everyone along, adding that listening to backscratchers and hypocrites is the genesis of leadership.

He urged him to understand that he was a follower in the past but today he is a leader that should set a good example among his followers.

In his remarks shortly after the Inauguration,  the RTEAN  Chairman of Ekiti, Sunday Adeola expressed his happiness over the Inauguration, saying it is a dream come true.

He applauded the National Chairman of the association for considering him worthy and honored him with such an appointment.

Adeola urged members of the state to ignore anything capable of resulting in a crisis in the state.

He called on members to show commitment and work together as a team for the betterment of the association in the state and Nigeria in general.

Since the inception of his tenure as RTEAN National President Amb. Dr. Musa Maitakobi, the stakeholders in the transport sector have described him as a reformer in the sector, and the association had recorded positive success.

The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria is a registered Trade Union under the law as enshrined in section 5 subsection 7 of the Trade Union Amendment Act CAP T14 laws of the Federation which empowers RTEAN to operate anywhere in 774 local governments and 36 states and FCT.
