Gov. Buni appoints Umar Mai Aliyu Gulani as Acting Auditor General
Yobe State Governor, Honorable Mai Mala Buni CON, has appointed Umar Mai Aliyu Gulani as the acting Auditor General of Yobe State.
This announcement was made in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Baba Malam Wali Mni, which was released to the press in Damaturu.
The letter reads in part: “I am pleased to inform you that His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON has approved your appointment as Acting State Auditor General with immediate effect.
“Your appointment into this exalted office is predicated on your past records of performance, dedication and commitments towards the development of the state. It is, therefore, hoped that you will strive hard to justify the confidence reposed in you by this appointment.
“While congratulating you on your well deserved appointment, please accept the assurances of our highest regards”.
Prior to his appointment, Umar Mai Aliyu Gulani was the Director of Finance and Supply at the Yobe State Pilgrims Commission.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
