Swearing in stage collapses in Kano

The stage for Kano State’s swearing-in ceremony collapsed at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kofa Mata on Monday.

According to a video posted by Channels TV, the stage caved way while the crowd around it moved away for safety.

However, the state Governor-elect, Abba Yusuf, and the acting Chief Judge, who were all on the podium, are safe.
