First female Commissioner of Police in Kwara, Ebunoluwa Rotimi, visits Airforce base

The female Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, Ebunoluwa Rotimi Adelesi, has paid a familiarisation visit to Airforce base in Ilorin, the state capital.

Among CP Rotimi’s entourage are DC Ops Kwara, DCP Ojo (second left) and Commander 15 PMF Ilorin, ACP Mustapha Waziri (second right).

CP Adelesi took over from the former Commissioner of Police, who was promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Paul Odama.

She was appointed to the Nigeria Police Force on March 3, 1990, as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and has worked in several police commands and formations within and outside the country, where she held several command positions at various times.
