American university appoints Nigerian economist as professor

American Trinity University, California, has appointed Nigerian economist and president of Garden City Premier Business School, Silva Opuala-Charles, as a Professor of Economics and Management. This appointment was officially conveyed in a letter signed by the university’s president, Brian Caroll, affirming Opuala-Charles’ role as a full-time professor at the very esteemed institution.
Opuala-Charles bears an impressive and daunting academic background. He holds a PhD in Economics, with a specialisation in Monetary Economics, and a Master’s degree with focus on Money and Banking.
