V.P Shettima, APC governors, others in attendance as PEPC begins proceedings

 

A gathering of influential figures, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa and his Bauchi State counterpart Bala Mohammed, APC Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, are in attendance as the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) commenced proceedings in Abuja.

The purpose of their presence is to witness the judgement on three petitions aimed at removing President Tinubu from office.

The PEPC will deliver judgment on 6th September, 2023 for petitions filed in by presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar of PDP and Peter Obi of Labour Party against Bola Tinubu’s presidential win.
