Nigerian Army nabs murderer of Dorathy Jonathan in Southern Kaduna

Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano

The Nigerian Army announced on Thursday that its troops have apprehended the murderer of Dorathy Jonathan in Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State.

Jonathan was tragically killed on Friday, September 1, while she was gathering firewood in Afana village, Zango Kataf Local Government Area.

This arrest aligns with Major General AE Abubakar, the Commander of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), and his commitment to ensuring justice prevails for all the wrongdoers in Southern Kaduna.

The suspect, Lot Dauda, has confessed to committing the crime with an accomplice who remains at large.

His apprehension followed a diligent manhunt by OPSH troops, acting on credible intelligence.
