Borno Commissioner of Rehabilitation dies of suspected poisoning
Borno State Commisioner of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Resettlement, Engineer Ibrahim Idris Garba, is dead.
Engineer Garba, who was newly appointed as a commissioner, died at his guest house in 777 Housing Estate in Maiduguri.
A source who pleaded anonymity told Neptune Prime that the Commissioner died together with his guest and were suspected to have been poisoned.
He was confirmed dead shortly after being admitted at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
However, police are currently at the scene to ascertain the actual cause of the Commissioner’s demise as investigation has commenced.
