Yobe Govt clarifies delay in NECO results, ensuring bright educational future

In an effort to address concerns over the delay in the release of National Examination Council (NECO) results in Yobe State, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idriss, the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, has provided an explanation.
The Yobe State administration, led by Governor Mai-Mala Buni, has already made the necessary payments for the release of the results. Dr. Idriss assured students attending public schools that there is no cause for alarm as the results await approval from the NECO Board Registrar.

He emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to improving the educational sector.
In a statement given to Neptune Prime correspondent on Saturday, Dr. Idriss stated, “We want to assure all students and parents that the delay in the release of the NECO results is solely due to the required approval process. The Yobe State Government, under the leadership of Governor Mai-Mala Buni, is fully dedicated to enhancing our educational system.”
It is important to note that the National Examination Council (NECO) officially released the Senior Secondary School Certificate results on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
