Former Senator, Abubakar Danso Sodangi of Nasarawa State, passes away
Senator Abubakar Danso Sodangi, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, has passed away at the age of 70.
Sources close to the family reported that the former senator, who represented Nasarawa West in the National Assembly for 12 years, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Sodangi, who served as the Chairman of the Campaign Council for Governor Abdullahi Sule’s re-election in 2023, had been elected Senator in the Nasarawa West Constituency of Nasarawa State in May 1999 and was re-elected in 2003 and 2007.
However, the circumstances surrounding his passing are sketchy as of the time of this report.
