Gunmen in Anambra State kidnap popular Archbishop, wife, son, 4 other clergies
Archbishop Uka Uka Osim of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, along with his wife, Anne Osim, and son, Roland Uka Osim, have been abducted in Anambra state.
The unfortunate incident occurred on May 1, 2024, while they were traveling to Awka, the capital of Anambra State, for evangelical duties. Alongside them, three other clergymen of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star were also kidnapped: Azuka Ochu, Moses Okafor, and Anderson Akwazie.
The abduction was confirmed by Bishop Denis Onuoha, the administrator of the spiritual organisation in Abia State, BCS. Despite four days passing since the abduction, there has been no communication from the abductors.

Expressing deep concern, Bishop Onuoha emphasized their reliance on prayer, trusting that the Almighty Father, whom they serve devotedly, will ensure their safe return.
While urging security agencies to intervene and rescue the clergymen, Bishop Onuoha underscored their unwavering faith in divine protection.
Police authorities in both Anambra and Abia States are yet to comment on the incident.
