Super Falcons Nnadozie clinches title of best female goalkeeper
Chiamaka Nnadozie, renowned for her exceptional skills under the goalposts, has once again been recognized for her talent as she was crowned the Best Goalkeeper for the 2023/24 season in the French Division 1 Feminine League by the Union for Professional Football Players (UNFP).
The prestigious honor was bestowed upon Nnadozie at the illustrious UNFP Trophies gala held in Paris, where she stood out for her stellar performances throughout the season.
The 23-year-old’s outstanding contributions were instrumental in guiding her team, Paris FC, to a commendable third-place finish in the regular season and securing a spot in the playoffs.

Expressing her gratitude and humility, Nnadozie took to social media after receiving the award, writing, “I’m incredibly grateful and humbled by this award. @tropheesunfp thank you for recognising my efforts.

This accolade adds to Nnadozie’s previous achievement earlier in the year when she clinched the title of the best goalkeeper in the D1 Arkema as awarded by the league body.
Her consistent standout performances have also been pivotal for the Super Falcons, with her exemplary form playing a significant role in Nigeria’s successful qualification for the women’s football event at the upcoming Paris Olympics.
In the qualification matches, Nnadozie conceded just one goal in six games, marking a remarkable achievement for the talented goalkeeper and her national team.
