RTEAN dissolves Oyo State Branch Exco over neglect of duties

The National Executive Council (N.E.C) of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has dissolved the Oyo State Branch executives over neglect of duties and non-functionality.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by Alhaji Musa Muhammed (Maitakobi) and Comrade Yusuf Ibrahim Adeniyi, Executive National President and National Secretary General.

The statement said the dissolution is in line with the provisions of the Association’s Constitution at Article 9: d (ii) and was decided following the resolutions reached at the National Executive Council (N.E.C) meeting held on the 29th August 2024, at the National Headquarters.

“This action was as a result of the non-functionality of the executives and non-attendance of NEC meetings for more than six months without any cause.
