Governor’s special Adviser on Youth Affairs dies in Katsina

Aminu Lawal Custom, the Special Adviser on Youth to the Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Dikko Radda, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 19, 2024, in his hometown of Malumfashi.

In addition to his role as Special Adviser, the late Aminu Lawal Custom was also a chairmanship candidate for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Malumfashi Local Government Area.

Reacting to the sudden death, Governor Dikko Radda expressed his deep sorrow, describing Aminu Lawal Custom as a devoted public servant who was committed to the well-being of the youth and the development of the state. “His passing is not only a significant loss to his family but to the entire people of Malumfashi and Katsina State at large,” the Governor said.

In a statement released by Ibrahim Mohamed, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Radda further stated, “Alhaji Aminu Lawal Custom was a passionate advocate for youth development. His contributions to the progress of Malumfashi Local Government and his dedication to our administration will be greatly missed.”

The Governor extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Malumfashi. He prayed for Allah to grant Aminu Lawal Custom eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi and for strength to his family in this time of grief.

Aminu Lawal Custom was laid to rest on Thursday afternoon in his hometown, Malumfashi, according to Islamic rites.
