Trump, Harris hold final rallies on eve of US Presidential Election

Donald Trump took to the stage in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for his final campaign speech, greeted by cheers from the crowd. This city is also where he ended his campaigns in 2016 and 2020.

“Doing four of these [rallies] in one day is a little difficult,” Trump said, but added that the support he received at each stop made it “all worth it.”

The former president was nearly two hours late to the rally, which was scheduled to begin at 10:30 PM local time.

Trump then asked the crowd, “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” to which the audience responded with loud boos.

“My message to you, and to all Americans tonight, is very simple: We don’t have to live like this.”

Kamala Harris has delivered her final campaign speech in Philadelphia, marking the end of her weeks-long tour.

Reflecting on the campaign, Harris said it “brought together people from all corners of the nation and all walks of life.”

She continued, “Ours is not a fight against nothing, but for something… Tonight, we finish as we started: with energy, optimism, and joy.”

Harris also made a familiar appeal to young and first-time voters, telling them, “To you in particular, I say I see your power, and I am so proud of you.”

The Vice President knows that securing strong support from young voters will be crucial to her success in today’s election.
