Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, popularly known as Wale, is an American rapper. He was born in Washington DC to Nigerian parents. He has released hit tracks like ‘On Chill’ and ‘Bad.’
Hakeem Seriki aka Chamillionaire is an American rapper famous for songs like ‘Hip Hop Police’ and ‘Good morning.’ His father is a Muslim Nigerian.
Born in 1985, American rapper Jidenna Theodore Mobisson was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to a Nigerian father and a white mother. He is famous for songs like ‘Bambi’ and ‘Classic Man.’

Olu Dara was born Charles Jones III January 12, 1941, in Natchez, Mississippi.[1][2] His mother, Ella Mae, was born in 1911 in Canton, Mississippi.[2] His father, Charles Jones II, also born in Natchez,[2] was a travelling musician, and sang with The Melodiers, a vocal quartet with a guitarist.[3]
As a child, Dara took piano and clarinet lessons. He studied at Tennessee State University, initially a pre-med major, switching to music theory and composition.
