Auyolicious chicken pepper soup

Auyolicious Chicken Pepper Soup is a warm, comforting dish packed with rich flavours and aromatic spices. This hearty soup combines tender chicken, bell peppers, and fragrant herbs for a perfect balance of heat and savoriness. Whether enjoyed on a chilly evening or as a soothing meal, it’s a delicious treat best served with spice tea and soft bread to soak up every drop!

Ingredients

Full chicken cut in bite sizes (preferably local chicken breed)
4-5 scotch bonnet  (Attaruhu)
1 yellow herbanero pepper
1 big onion
1/2 tsp salt
3 pieces of chicken seasoning cube
1 tbsp pepper soup spice (Optional)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp clove and black pepper powder
3 cups water
basil leaves or scent leaf/efirin
Instructions
Rinse chicken thoroughly, and transfer to a medium cooking pot.

Add in the seasonings, salt, and spices to the chicken, then mix and boil in a low heat for 10 minutes in order for the chicken to release steam.
Rough blend the peppers and onion.

Add the blended peppers and onions, add water, cover the pot, and allow chicken to cook on low heat for about 30 minutes, or until chicken is fully tender.

Taste and adjust seasoning and spices, add chopped basil or scent leaf, then allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.

Serve hot or warm.
I served mine with spice tea and soft bread to soak up the soup😇.
