President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to continue to support the Super Eagles after the team earned one more point in a match against Cameroon that ended 1-1 on Monday.
Buhari wrote on his Twitter page “let’s celebrate our Super Eagles, holding Cameroon to a draw in Yaoundé. The march to #Russia2018 continues, and they have all our support!”
The President also tweeted a photo of him watching the match.
The Super Eagles beat the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 4-0 in an earlier match during the weekend in Uyo.
