Yobe state Governor and Chairman, APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Honourable Mai Mala Buni, in a show of good governance, bridge building and care for the need of the average citizen has commissioned Relief Market Road in Owerri, Imo state capital.
Commissioning the road, Gov Buni dedicated it to the good people of Imo State and for the benefit of Nigerians and humanity in general, hoping that the new road will serve as a catalyst for development.
Earlier in his welcome address, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, said the project, among others, was executed to facilitate movement of goods and services in the state capital.
Also testifying, residents of the area said the road was a death trap before its reconstruction by the Uzodinma administration describing it as a worthy investment.
