Residents of Magamar Jibia town in the Jibia area council of Katsina State have killed and set three suspected bandits on fire.
In a report by Daily Trust, unidentified gunmen invaded the town on Sunday night, and while attacking a man’s house, he raised an alarm which alerted residents that came to his rescue.
A unanimous source stated that the youth already got information on the attack before it took place, and alerted the neighbouring communities to be on the lookout.
“I saw the corpses of two of the suspected bandits burnt beyond recognition and dumped at the Magama junction, but the third person, who was said to be in an army uniform, was said to be taken away by the policemen,” he said.
