Sometimes I feel like getting naked on the street to protest societal decadence – Kannywood actress, Nafisa Abdullahi

Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano

Nafisa Abdullahi, a beautiful Kannywood Actress and a graduate of theatre arts from the University of Jos is an indigene of Jos in Plateau State. Born 30 years ago and today one the richest and successful Hausa Actress in Kannywood.

About six or seven years ago Nafisa’s career almost stopped when a report broke out on the pages of social media that a popular Kaduna base Actor Adam A. Zango impregnated her and they are already in court trying to prove who is on the wrong side.

Last week Neptune Prime visited the set where Aminu Saira and his team are shooting the film Labarina, Nafisa Abdullahi, Maryam Wazeery and Nuhu Abdullahi are some of the major stars in the Labarina Series.

Neptune prime asked Nafisa Abdullahi some questions about her career, marriage, social life and how rich she is?

“You see the advent of social media has virtually destroyed our society, most of the things you read about us are not true they are naked lies, like the Maryam Yahya sickness, whoever wants to report it can always go to their house and see her instead of speculating on pages of social media.”

On who is her godfather in Kannywood she said Ali Nuhu, Adam Zango is no longer her boyfriend, he never impregnated her but both of them lived in Kaduna and they have mutual respect for each other.

On marriage, Nafisa laughed and said its destiny will come when it will come, as a graduate and a holder of another Diploma in Photography, and a society woman, she said she knows what she wants in life.

Presently she said she is staying with her mother in Kaduna, she added that people should not be surprised if she takes to the street naked one of these days to protest the primitive behaviour of some members of our society.
