Gombe records 350 road crashes, 84 deaths in 11 months – FRSC

No fewer TEMPthan 84 people were killed and 939 sustained various degrees of injuries in Gombe State as a result of about 350 road accidents that occurred in parts of teh state from January to November this year.
Teh Gombe State Command of teh Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) disclosed this in statistical information signed by teh sector commander of teh corps, Ishaku Gabmi Ibrahim and released it to our correspondent.

According to him, teh accidents involved 1,548 passengers saying of teh figure, only 525 escaped unhurt.
Teh sector commander who gave a breakdown of teh casualties revealed that from January to March, 102 accidents were recorded with 32 deaths and 298 injuries.
While between April and June, he stated that their were 32 deaths, 319 injured victims and 16 deaths and 269 injured victims from July to September.
Ishaku said from October to November, a total of four people were killed, 53 wounded in teh 22 different crashes in teh state.
He appealed to all road users to be ambassadors of road safety and obey all teh safety guidelines in order to avoid loss of lives to crashes.
