Police arrest 37-year-old woman supplying bandits with women in Kaduna

A 37-year-old married woman, Maryam Abubakar who specializes in supplying bandits with women has been arrested with her daughters by men of Kaduna Police Command during an operation.
Maryam Abubakar confessed that she has been supplying bandits with women for quite some time, including her daughters. She also has a boyfriend among the bandits that she sleeps with whenever she visits him in Galadima forest, Zaria. Her brother and uncle are also among the bandits that she is supplying with women, foodstuffs, clothes and even buying handsets for them.

Maryam Abubakar who was paraded by Force Headquarters Abuja, under the Public Relations Officer, ACP Frank Mba, confessed that she has been going to the bus and she will meet the bandits, they will give her money for shopping including bringing them women and whenever she senses danger, she also used to alert them so that they will not be arrested, and she made lots of money in the process.
Speaking when parading her with two other women that are also going to the Galadima forest to meet the bandits to sleep with them, ACP Frank Mba said that this is what the police have been saying that the bandits are not angels but they are part and parcel of us. But for one reason or the other, they decided to take arms and kill people including raping innocent women.
He added that the force will intensify efforts to fish out these criminals and their informants, like Maryam Abubakar and her group and deal decisively with them so that those into this ugly practice will think twice and repent, or the authority will continue to hunt for them and rid the society of their activities.
