Abuja High Court sacks Abdullahi Abbas as Kano APC Chairman

A High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Hamza Mu’azu has sacked APC Kano Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas and ruled that Ahmad Danzago is the legitimately elected chairman.
Before the recent congress of APC in all the 36 states, its National Caretaker Chairman, Honourable Mai Mala Buni, had announced that any caretaker chairman that participated in the election without resigning from the office will be declared null and void.

In Kano, Abdullahi Abbas did not resign his chairmanship before contesting the election, and on the other hand, Senator Ibrahim, Shekarau’s candidate, Ahmad Dangazo also went into the election and two parallel chairmen were produced.
Meanwhile, at the time of this report, APC supporters were seen jubilating in Kano, celebrating the victory of Ibrahim Shekarau faction.
