Aliko Dangote’s brother, Sani Dangote, dies in US hospital after battling illness

The death has occurred of Sani Dangote, the younger brother of Aliko Dangote, after battling a long illness in a hospital in America.

Sani, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Dansa Sugar, also has shares in many businesses belonging to Dangote and other companies.

For a very long time he had been in the USA, where he was undergoing treatment for several medical complications, until his death today, as was announced by his family.

At the time of filing this report, arrangements were being made by his family to fly his remains to Kano to be buried according to Muslim rites. If his body arrives early, he will be buried today, if not, he will be buried tomorrow in Kano. His business associates are already trooping to Kano to sympathise with his family.
