APC Yobe steps up campaign for voter registration, mobilises women, youth

The E-Campaign and Voter Education initiative, under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yobe State chapter, has called on the general public, especially women to take full advantage of the ongoing nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, which has entered its third and final phase.
This appeal follows the official resumption of the final phase of the CVR by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday, 11th May 2026.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the founder of the Yobe State E-Campaign and Voter Education initiative, Dr Adam K. Mohammad, and made available to newsmen in Damaturu.
According to Dr Mohammad, the third phase of the CVR began on Monday, 11th May 2026, and will end on Friday, 10th July 2026.
“During this period, eligible citizens who have attained the age of 18, as well as those who could not register during the earlier phases, should seize this opportunity to do so,” Mohammad stated.

The APC initiative reiterated its commitment to ensuring that no son or daughter of Yobe State is left out of the electoral process, with special focus on mobilising women and first-time voters.
