As part of its community relationship efforts, the 211 Battalion of the Nigerian Army has renovated a dilapidated Primary school in Mafa Local Government Area Borno State and some army officers have been engaged as instructors.
The Primary school which has more than 500 pupils was shut down three years ago as a  result of Boko Haram crisis. 
The Army supported the school with writing materials and deployed security personnel to guard the school as well.
An Officer who didn’t want to be mentioned disclosed that some IDPs also volunteered to teach the pupils.
Neptune Prime Correspondent in Maiduguri who visited the school reports that the school has all necessary facilities to aid learning imcluding Ceiling fan, Toilet, Desks and portable drinking water.
