As S’Court sits, Greenspan files suit in US, demands FBI releases Tinubu’s record

In a recent development, IT consultant Aaron Greenspan has taken a significant step by filing a motion within the ongoing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

Greenspan’s motion seeks the release of confidential documents regarding President Bola Tinubu, urging both the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to disclose vital information about the President’s “real identity.”

Notably, Greenspan had previously initiated the FOIA lawsuit, compelling the FBI and CIA to unveil these crucial documents.

Now, his latest motion is aimed at expediting the release of President Tinubu’s files, a move that has garnered attention as the Supreme Court prepares to hear petitions related to his election on Monday, October 23rd.

Investigative journalist David Hundeyin recently reported on this significant development.

Hundeyin who unveiled the court documents that outline Greenspan’s motion wrote: “Greenspan just filed a motion in the ongoing FOIA lawsuit requesting the government agencies to commence release of the approved information immediately, since Nigeria’s Supreme Court is being rushed through the hearing so as to end-run the release of the FBI files”.

It would be recalled that President Tinubu had previously filed motions to prevent the release of records held by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and other United States agencies concerning him.
