Balarabe Lawal, Kaduna’s ministerial nominee, collapses at Senate screening (Video)

During the Senate screening of ministerial nominees on Wednesday, Alhaji Balarabe Lawal, the Kaduna State representative, collapsed after reading his resume and while awaiting questions from the senators.

He was quickly attended to by medical personnel on-site.

Lawal is the replacement nominee for Malam Nasir El-Rufai who was originally nominated but was withdrawn following a security report against him.

Lawal is expected to become the Minister of Environment.
