Bandits kill Katsina Governor’s aide, wife during night raid, abduct another victim

In a tragic incident, Alhaji Sanusi Ango Gyaza, an aide to the Katsina State Governor, was killed alongside his wife during a night raid by gunmen.

The attack occurred at their residence in Gyaza, Kankia Local Government Area, on Friday night.

Gyaza, a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) for Kankia LGA, was reportedly targeted by the assailants, who also abducted his other wife during the raid.

The Katsina State Police Command, through its spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, has yet to provide further details, promising to get back with more information later.
