Christmas Celebration: Kabisha Foundation give foodstuffs to vulnerable women, orphans in Jos

Story from Yakubu VENTIM, Jos

No fewer than 100 vulnerable and displaced persons of Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State have benefited from a Non-Governmental Organisation set up with the sole aim of alleviating poverty and hardship faced by the people of the community.

The founder of the organisation, Kabisha Foundation, Honourable Itse Ishaya said foodstuffs like rice, Maggi, palm oil and others were distributed to assist people in the forthcoming Christmas celebration.

Ishaya explained further that the NGO has provided scholarships to orphans in the community and also advanced the progress of displaced persons.

He disclosed that the reason for distributing the foodstuffs to the vulnerable members of the community was to assist those who are helpless and in need as the country’s level of poverty is increasing daily.
