A popular Civilian Joint Taskforce commander, Malaminta, has been killed by Boko Haram during the attack on Maiduguri-Damboa-Biu road in Borno State.
He described Malaminta as one of the several civilians who picked up arms against the terrorist group Boko Haram.
During the height of the Boko Haram madness, some groups of young people in the state, teamed up to help the Nigerian security operatives in fighting back.
Many of them have paid the ultimate price defending the nation and as a result, have become recognized by the Nigerian State in their efforts in helping the military in the war against terrorism.
