Constituents express gratitude to Senator Ibrahim Bomoi

Communities in Yobe South Senatorial district have expressed their gratitude to Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai’s recent Constituency Projects 7 months after his inauguration into the red Chambers.

The lawmaker’s efforts according to one of the Concerned Youths, Baba Mu’azu told our Correspondent in Potiskum town on Monday that “Senator Bomai embarked on so many people-oriented projects to help develop our area and give the much-needed dividend of democracy to our people.

According to him “The lawmaker has proposed a lot of lofty projects to execute gradually and will leverage on his membership of the same political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) together with the state government, to support the vision of rapid development of all parts of Yobe state by Governor Maimala Buni”.

He added, “no doubt, the lawmaker’ intervention by pooling resources from their constituency project allowances will promote the senatorial district comprising 4 of the 17 local government areas in the state”.

Some of the projects he lamented include installation of solar street lights, electrification of Darin town in Nangere Local Government Area in collaboration with Federal Government Rural Electrification Agency, construction of some roads, purchase, and installation of electric transformers within Potiskum township, other places among other things.

Mu’azu disclosed that the lawmaker would spend millions of naira on water provision for the Yobe South Senatorial District.

He appealed to the people of the area to continue to support the government in order to enjoy more democracy dividends.
