This conviction follows closely on the heels of another high-profile case involving a Nigerian pilot, Olukayode Ojo, who was found guilty in Texas for making false statements to acquire a certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The charges against Dada and Adebiyi stem from an incident that occurred in March 2022, with each man facing three counts of rape.
