Last week it was Lionel Messi who was making history, and now it’s Ronaldo hitting back with a record of his own.
His brace against Udinese on Sunday put him on 11 goals for the season – becoming the only player in Europe’s top five leagues to hit double figures in each of the last 15 seasons.
It’s an absolutely insane feat, and a credit to his consistency, quality, and superhuman talent.
We take this level of excellence because he and Messi have normalized it, but just wait until they’re gone.
