Defence Minister visits family of fallen Brigadier General, pledges intensified fight against ISWAP

Minister of Defence, Muhammed Badaru Abubakar Musa, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Brigadier General Uba, who was killed in action during operations against ISWAP terrorists.
During the visit, the minister described the fallen officer as a courageous and dedicated soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of the nation. He assured the family that the Federal Government remains committed to honouring his legacy.
Musa vowed that the military would intensify operations to completely dismantle ISWAP networks, stressing that the terrorist group would be crushed and their activities brought to an end.
He reaffirmed the government’s support for troops on the frontlines, promising improved logistics, welfare, and operational capacity to strengthen the fight against terrorism.
