Engr. MAK Abubakar appointed Wazirin Wase (Pictures)
Engr Muhammad Ali Kachalla Abubakar, has been appointed as the new Wazirin Wase.
His appointment and turbaning ceremony took place on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Engineer Abubakar is the chairman of the Yobe State Education Trust Fund (Yetfund), and a one time deputy chief of staff (DCoS) in the Presidency during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
He is also the Turaki of Gujba Emirate in Yobe State.
His wealth of experience underscores his capabilities as a seasoned leader that his new role would benefit from.
