The deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, also known as Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and his fourth wife, Sa’adatu Barkindo Mustafa, during the week celebrated their daughter, Halimatu Saadiyya Rafeeqah’s first birthday.
The birthday party was attended by members of the family including the three wives of the former Emir and friends.
Sanusi was also the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from 2009 before he was suspended by Goodluck Jonathan in 2014.
Recently, the former Emir, a firm believer of the Islamic faith was on March 12, 2021, made leader of the Tijaniyya Islamic sect in Nigeria.
