Family in Calabar in distress as woman goes missing without a trace
The family of Mrs. Janemarcel Ochang (known as Bukie) is gripped by fear and worry due to her sudden disappearance in Calabar, the capital of Cross River State.
According to the family’s statement, she was last seen on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
Bukie is the wife of Mr. Marcel Ochang, hailing from Boki Local Government Area in Cross River State. The couple resides in the 8-mile vicinity, near the TTC School area in Calabar.
Reports suggest that on that fateful day, she left her home with the intention of purchasing essential items for her business and household.
She hailed a taxi from Muritala Mohammed Highway, taking the route through Aka-Efa and the Goodluck Jonathan bypass, eventually reaching her shop at Aka Ifa, near the Idun-Idun Roundabout. Unfortunately, she has been missing since that moment.
The family is pleading for assistance from the public. They have provided the following contact numbers: 08034209220, 09017747275, and 07037485934.
They urged anyone with valuable information about Bukie’s whereabouts to come forward.
Additionally, they encouraged individuals to reach out to the nearest Police Station, Vigilante members, or Community Youths to aid in her rescue.
