Family seeks justice for 22-year-old graduate raped, beaten to death

A 22-year-old University of Benin (UNIBEN) graduate, Adekolore Idowu Glory, was reportedly raped and murdered by unknown miscreants.

The deceased lady was said to have left home on June 13, 2024, for university clearance but never returned alive, her body was later found near her parents’ house.

In an X post, her brother claimed unknown men attacked her while returning from school, he called for justice, revealing she was raped and killed on June 13, 2024.

He said her body has been deposited at the UBTH mortuary on June 15, with the help of Nigerian Police from Ekiadolor division.

Following her tragic demise, her family is pleading for justice and support.

Her family believed she was attacked as she was returning home from school, was brutally raped and her lifeless body dumped close to her parent’s house.

“Justice for my younger sister Adekolure Idowu Glory, who was raped and killed in lyowa Community Benin, Edo State on her way back from school (Uniben).

“She went for her clearance and her corpse was dropped close to her mother’s house.

“Help us seek for justice for my kid sister that just graduated from University of Benin (Uniben) in April 2024 and still processing her projects and clearance. She was raped to death on her way back from school on Thursday 13/6/2024, she’s just 22 years old.

“Her lifeless body has been deposited at the UBTH mortuary on the 15/6/24 with the help of the Nigerian Police from Ekiadolor division, she was beaten, raped and killed.

“Please Nigerians come to my rescue, the help I need now is just for my innocent sister, my mum can’t hold herself,” the post said.
