A former Kaduna State Governor, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, is dead.
Balarabe born on 21 August 1936, was the first Civilian Governor of old Kaduna State and died at the age of 84.
The elder statesman was elected Governor of Kaduna during the Second Republic in 1979.
His death was confirmed Wednesday morning by a leading member of his People’s Redemption Party (PRP), Senator Shehu Sani.
He held office from October 1979 until he was impeached on 23 June 1981.
Before his death, he was the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
