Gov. Buni receives APC vice presidential candidate, Shettima, ahead of general election
The former Governor of Borno State and vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kashim Shettima, has paid a visit to Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State.
According to publications on the Facebook account and other social media platforms of the APC Vice Presidential Candidate, the two men discussed extensively the upcoming 2023 general elections.
Speaking during the visit, Senator Shettima appreciated Governor Buni for his support and concern towards the success of the APC.
He prayed that the Almighty continues to bring unity among members of the party ahead of the general elections this year.
In his remark, Governor Buni said APC is lucky to have Shettima on its ticket as the vice presidential candidate, adding that he is very competent to rule and transform Nigeria.
Opera News gathered that the meeting had in attendance a member of the House of Representatives representing Megumari Federal Constituency, Honourable Zannah Usman.
