Gov. Buni urges wealthy individuals to invest in Yobe State’s development

Yobe State Governor, Honorable Mai Mala Buni, is urging wealthy individuals and business tycoons from the state and beyond to invest in order to boost economic activities.

He made this call during the commissioning of AL BALAD AUTOCARE Limited, a small-scale industry constructed by Alhaji Umar Musa Gulani, an indigene of Yobe State based in Abuja.

Governor Buni emphasized the need for private investment in Yobe State, considering the extensive damage caused by a decade-long insurgency that severely affected business activities and livelihoods across the state.

He expressed his satisfaction with the initiative, stating that it aligns with the government’s goal of generating employment, creating wealth, and fostering development.

The governor encouraged other sons and daughters of the state who possess the resources to follow this example and establish similar small and medium-scale enterprises in their hometowns.

Governor Buni assured the company’s chairman, board, and potential investors that the government would continue to create an enabling environment for private investments to thrive in the state.

He highlighted the government’s achievements in constructing modern markets, road networks in major towns, and the Muhammadu Buhari International Cargo Airport, all aimed at promoting commerce and international trade.

Furthermore, the government has prioritized the construction of roads to improve access to rural areas, facilitate the movement of goods and services, and attract private investments in agriculture and livestock with a focus on value chain development.

During his speech, the Managing Director and CEO of AL BALAD Autocare Limited, Gulani, expressed his appreciation to Governor Mai Mala Buni for his continuous support throughout the project’s construction phase.
