In an exciting development, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has given his approval for the appointment of 12 new permanent secretaries within the state civil service.

This decision was conveyed by the kind-hearted and dedicated acting Head of Civil Service, Ahmed Abdullahi. Abdullahi emphasized that these appointments were made based on the candidates’ outstanding credentials, extensive experience, hard work, unwavering commitment, loyalty, and exceptional performance in the promotion examinations and interviews.

“This significant move is in line with the current administration’s steadfast dedication to breathe new life into the civil service. We are determined to ensure that deserving and diligent civil servants attain the highest positions in their careers well before retirement,” stated Abdullahi, illustrating the administration’s noble mission.

Among the deserving individuals who have been appointed as permanent secretaries are Mohammed Ibrahim Jalo and Adamu Mohammed Kala from Akko Local Government, Dr. Ibrahim Yakubu from Balanga, Sa’adatu Bome Ishaya from Billiri, Abubakar Adamu from Dukku, Abdulkadir Adamu, Abubakar Babayo Hassan, and Ahmed Mohammed Yunusa from Gombe LGA.

In addition to these remarkable appointments, Mohammed Dantata Ndus from Kaltungo, Abubakar Bella M/sidi from Kwami, Shuaibu Ibrahim from Shongom, and Mohammed Ismail Hina from Yamaltu Deba LGA are also among the newly appointed permanent secretaries. Their dedication and expertise will surely contribute to the growth and progress of Gombe State.

It is worth noting that the appointments are effective immediately, as highlighted in Abdullahi’s official statement.
