In a proactive move to enhance governance in Taraba State, Governor Agbu Kefas has appointed 1,270 executive aides to support various roles within the state government.

The appointments, which included special advisers, senior special assistants, special assistants, constituency special assistants, and members of boards, commissions, and agencies, were made rapidly over a 24-hour period from Monday, July 15th to Tuesday, July 16th, 2024.

A press statement from the Secretary to the State Government, Gebon Kataps, confirmed the appointments and highlighted the diverse responsibilities the appointees will undertake to contribute to the state’s progress.
