Story by Yahaya Saleh Muhammad

The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested nine individuals during coordinated night-time raids carried out across different parts of Kano metropolis.

According to the Hisbah authorities, the operation was part of an ongoing effort to curb social vices and enforce moral standards in line with the state’s laws. The suspects, made up of eight women and one man, were apprehended at various locations while allegedly engaging in activities considered contrary to public morality.

The raids were conducted along major roads and hotspots within the city, including busy commercial and residential areas. Officials said the operation followed intelligence reports and routine patrols aimed at reducing immoral practices, especially during late hours.
