How man travelled from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia on a bicycle
His name is Aliyu Abdullahi Bala.
He left Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria on 23 February 2021, for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He passed through Niger, Tchad and Sudan. He arrived in the Kingdom on 10 December 2022. On his way, he encountered so many challenges, including the famous Boko Haram group, kidnappers, Armed bandits, hazardous animals, etc.

Although, Boko Haram members did not harass him much but asked him to pray for them. Only the Armed bandit took away his mobile phone since he doesn’t have money to give them. However upon arrival at a small town in Sudan, he narrated his ordeal with the criminals, they sympathize with him and contributed some money and procured a new phone for him.
On his journey to the kingdom, he slept in the bush on many occasions. Sometimes he had to push the bicycle because the tyres got burst. In all the cities and towns he passed through, he was hailed as a hero and received some donations as well as best wishes.
He is currently in Makkah where he performed Umrah. He will be leaving for Madinah tomorrow to visit Prophet’s mosque, where he will be staying there for a week.
Thereafter, he will return to Jeddah, and then en route to Nigeria.
