How worshippers nabbed self-proclaimed artist with female head inside nylon (Video)
Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, a self-proclaimed gospel singer, was arrested on Sunday with the severed head of a woman believed to be his girlfriend.
The shocking incident reportedly occurred near a church in Nasarawa State, drawing widespread condemnation and public attention.
A social media user, Arike, who witnessed the incident, shared her account via Twitter:
“I got the shock of my life as we apprehended a Yahoo ritual with human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon close to our church as we were holding service. I thought I just used to watch things like this until I experienced one ‘Live’ today.”
The Police Public Relations Officer for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Josephine Adeh, confirmed the development but clarified that the crime took place in Nasarawa State, not Abuja.
“To clarify, the incident above did not occur in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) but in Nasarawa State. We kindly urge everyone to ensure accuracy in such reports for better public understanding,” she stated.
Eyewitnesses reported that Ajayi, who was carrying a black nylon bag emitting a foul smell and attracting flies, was stopped by concerned individuals. Upon inspection, a freshly severed human head was discovered in the bag.

Ajayi reportedly confessed to having dated the victim for a year.
The suspect, who is also active on TikTok as a content creator, has been criticised online. Nigerians have flooded his TikTok account, where in one video, he is seen telling his followers, “no village person can stop them.”
The case has sparked debates on social media, with many demanding swift justice for the victim.
